4. General Information About the Offer
The online store www.miniles.net is intended for the sale of wooden products, primarily products for babies, toddlers, children, and the home.
Most products in the offer are made to order. This means that products are generally not in stock and are manufactured after the order and payment are received, unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific product.
Due to the nature of natural wood, minor variations in color, texture, grain, and other natural properties of the material may occur. Such variations do not constitute a defect but are a characteristic of natural materials.
Product photos are for illustrative purposes only. The provider strives to present products as accurately as possible; however, the actual appearance may slightly differ from what is shown on screen, especially due to screen settings, lighting, and natural variations in materials.
5. Copyright
All content published on the website www.miniles.net, including texts, photographs, graphic elements, logos, and other materials, is the property of the provider or used based on appropriate usage rights.
Without prior written permission from the provider, the content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes.
6. Prices, Promotions, and Discount Codes
All prices in the online store are stated in euros (EUR) and include VAT, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Prices are valid at the time the order is placed. The sales contract between the provider and the customer is concluded at the moment the customer receives an email confirmation of order acceptance. From that moment on, the price and other conditions are binding for both parties.
Delivery costs are not included in the product price unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific product or within a special promotion. The delivery cost is displayed to the customer before completing the order.
Promotional prices are valid for the duration of the promotion or until revoked.
Discount codes and promotions are generally not cumulative unless explicitly stated otherwise.
In the event of an obvious pricing error or a technical error on the website, the provider reserves the right to reject the order or offer the customer the option to withdraw from the contract.
7. Product Availability
The product offer on the website may change.
If a product cannot be delivered or manufactured within the expected timeframe, the provider will inform the customer as soon as possible. If the customer has already paid for the product, the provider will refund all received payments as soon as possible.
8. Payment Methods
Since most products are made to order, prepayment is required to confirm the order.
Payment by bank transfer (pro forma invoice)
The customer completes the payment via a UPN form. After placing the order, the customer receives an email confirming the order along with payment details for transfer to the provider’s bank account.
The payment deadline is 48 hours from receipt of the notification. If the payment is not completed within this period, the provider may cancel the order.
Payment by credit/debit card
Orders can also be paid by card via a secure online payment system. Payment is made at the time of placing the order.
9. 100% Prepayment, Start of Production, and Delivery Time
For orders with 100% prepayment, production begins according to the order of received and paid orders, usually approximately one month after payment is received.
The exact start of production depends on current workload and the number of orders already received. Production and delivery times may vary depending on the type of product, complexity, and order volume.
Customers are advised to check the current estimated production time before placing an order.
For in-stock products, the estimated delivery time is generally between 2 to 7 working days, unless stated otherwise for a specific product.
If a specific production or delivery time is stated for an individual product, that timeframe applies.
10. Order Cancellation Before Production Begins
If the customer wishes to cancel an order after placing it, they must notify the provider as soon as possible at [email protected].
If the customer cancels the order before production begins, the provider will refund the full amount already paid.
If production has already started, the provider is not obliged to refund the full payment. In such cases, the provider has the right to retain part or all of the payment in proportion to the costs already incurred (materials, labor, preparation, and other costs related to fulfilling the order).
If the product is made according to the customer’s individual specifications or personalized needs, withdrawal from the order is generally no longer possible once production has started.
11. Purchase Procedure
The purchase process in the online store consists of the following steps:
The customer selects a product and adds it to the cart.
In the cart, the customer can review selected products, change quantities, or remove individual items.
Before completing the order, the customer enters the required information for invoicing and delivery.
The customer selects the delivery method and payment method.
Before placing the order, the customer reviews the full order summary.
By placing the order, the customer confirms that they are familiar with and agree to the general terms and conditions.
After placing the order, the customer receives an email confirmation of order acceptance.
If the customer notices any errors in the submitted order, they may report them as soon as possible to [email protected].
12. Conclusion of Contract
The sales contract between the provider and the customer is concluded at the moment the provider sends the customer an email confirming acceptance of the order.
The contract is concluded in the Slovenian language and is stored in electronic form by the provider.
13. Invoice Issuance
The provider issues the customer an invoice with a breakdown of costs.
The invoice is sent to the email address provided by the customer when placing the order. If the customer wishes to receive a physical copy of the invoice, they can request it at [email protected].
14. Delivery Time, Shipping, and Personal Pickup
For in-stock products, the delivery time is generally between 2 to 7 working days. Deliveries are usually not made on weekends and public holidays.
Delivery is carried out by Pošta Slovenije or another delivery service selected by the provider, unless stated otherwise.
All products in the offer are made to order and are not kept in stock. The estimated delivery time is specified for each individual product and is generally approximately 6 weeks from receipt of payment. This timeframe is indicative and may vary depending on order volume or production complexity.
If the customer selects personal pickup at checkout, no delivery cost is charged. The customer will be notified by email when the product is ready for pickup.
Personal pickup is available at: Žebljarska pot 5, 1241 Kamnik.
Delivery costs are displayed in the cart before completing the order and depend on the package weight, dimensions, delivery method, and delivery location.
15. Right of Withdrawal from the Contract
In the case of distance contracts, the consumer has the right to inform the provider within 14 days of receiving the goods that they are withdrawing from the contract, without having to state a reason for their decision.
The notice of withdrawal must be sent to: [email protected].
The consumer must return the goods no later than 14 days from the day they notified the provider of the withdrawal.
The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer. The provider does not accept cash-on-delivery (COD) shipments.
The provider will refund all received payments using the same payment method used by the customer, unless the customer explicitly agrees to a different method. The provider may withhold the refund until the returned goods are received or until proof is provided that the goods have been sent back.
The customer is liable for any reduction in the value of the goods if the goods have been handled in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
16. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made according to the customer’s precise instructions or clearly personalized.
Such goods include, in particular, products that are not pre-manufactured and are made based on the customer’s individual choices, such as custom-made products, special dimensions, selected add-ons, drawers, safety rails, stairs, different configurations, custom surface finishes, or other features that deviate from the standard offer.
If a product is standard and not customized to the customer’s personal needs, the general withdrawal rules from the previous section apply.
17. Delivery Costs and Delivery Area
Delivery costs displayed in the online store are indicative and may, in exceptional cases, vary depending on the weight, dimensions, packaging method, or delivery address.
If the customer wishes to know the exact delivery cost before placing an order, they should contact the provider in advance at [email protected].
The provider reserves the right to reject an order before confirmation if the delivery address is outside the provider’s usual delivery area or if the delivery location is more than 500 km from the provider’s registered office, unless agreed otherwise in advance.
In such cases, the provider and the customer may agree on a special delivery method and an individually determined delivery price.
18. Lack of Conformity of Goods
The provider is liable for any lack of conformity of the goods that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within two years of delivery.
The customer may exercise their rights regarding lack of conformity if they notify the provider within two months from the date the lack of conformity was discovered and allow the provider to inspect the goods.
The customer may request repair or replacement of the goods, a price reduction, or withdrawal from the contract under the conditions and in the order prescribed by applicable law.
If the lack of conformity appears within 30 days of delivery, the customer may withdraw from the contract and request a full refund.
The provider does not limit or exclude statutory liability for lack of conformity of goods.
19. Damage During Delivery
Upon receipt of the shipment, the customer should check its condition. If the package is visibly damaged, opened, or shows signs of tampering, the customer should immediately notify the delivery service and the provider.
The provider will work with the customer to resolve the complaint or situation as quickly as possible.
20. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
The provider complies with applicable consumer protection legislation.
Complaints, remarks, and claims can be submitted to: [email protected].
The provider will respond to the complaint within a reasonable time and will strive to resolve the dispute amicably.
The provider does not recognize any out-of-court dispute resolution provider as competent for resolving consumer disputes that a consumer may initiate in accordance with the Act on Out-of-Court Consumer Dispute Resolution.
In the event of judicial dispute resolution, the court with jurisdiction is the one based on the consumer’s place of permanent residence.
21. Personal Data Protection
The provider processes customers’ personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Personal data is processed for the purpose of fulfilling orders, communicating with the customer, issuing invoices, delivering goods, handling complaints or claims related to lack of conformity, and, where there is an appropriate legal basis, also for sending notifications, offers, and other information.
More detailed information about the processing of personal data, purposes of processing, legal bases, retention periods, and the rights of individuals is provided in the Privacy Policy on the provider’s website.
22. Cookies
The website uses cookies to ensure website functionality, security, a better user experience, and, where appropriate consent is given, also for analytics and potential marketing purposes.
Cookies that are not strictly necessary for the functioning of the website or for the service explicitly requested by the user are only installed based on the user’s prior consent.
More detailed information about the cookies used is available in the Cookie Policy or in the cookie settings on the website.
23. Limitation of Liability
The provider strives to ensure that the information published on the website is accurate and up to date; however, errors may occur in product descriptions, prices, stock availability, or delivery times.
The provider reserves the right to correct obvious errors and to change information on the website.
This provision does not exclude the rights that consumers have under applicable law.
24. Giveaway Rules
If the provider organizes a giveaway on the website or social media, specific rules published with each individual giveaway apply.
Unless otherwise stated, the following general rules apply:
The organizer of the giveaway is Mizarstvo Miniles, Jure Straus s.p., Tunjiška cesta 21, 1241 Kamnik.
Natural persons with permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia, aged 15 or older, may participate. Persons under 18 may participate with parental or legal guardian consent.
No purchase is required to participate in the giveaway, unless explicitly and legally stated otherwise in the rules of the specific giveaway.
The giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or Instagram when conducted on these platforms. The organizer is solely responsible for its execution.
Participation conditions, duration, winner selection method, type of prize, and deadline for claiming the prize are specified in each individual giveaway.
Prizes are generally not exchangeable for cash, and the right to the prize is non-transferable, unless stated otherwise in a specific giveaway.
If the winner does not provide the required information to claim the prize within the deadline specified in the rules, they lose the right to the prize.
The organizer may exclude participants who act contrary to the rules, use fake profiles, or engage in any unfair practices.
Personal data collected within the giveaway is processed solely for the purpose of conducting the giveaway, awarding prizes, and fulfilling legal obligations, unless the participant gives separate consent for other purposes.
25. Final Provisions
For all matters not specifically regulated by these general terms and conditions, the applicable legislation of the Republic of Slovenia shall apply.
If any provision of these general terms and conditions is found to be null, invalid, or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
These general terms and conditions are published on the website www.miniles.net.
